A pacesetter in Baltimore City’s next generation of real estate entrepreneurs, project developer and Realtor Dan Rieth has overseen the construction of 24 new luxury urban town homes in some of Baltimore City’s hottest neighborhoods – Canton, Federal Hill, Fells Point, Hampden, and Locust Point. Through a partnership over the last three years with Signature Properties, LLC, Dan has purchased, developed, and sold well over $10 million worth of real estate. Green Harbor Point is Dan’s first solo undertaking as managing member of the private real estate investment trust (REIT) Elm Real Estate, LLC. Previously, Dan helped raise $500,000 in the name of Signature Properties Fund I, LLC, another private REIT raised for development in Baltimore City.
Dan is also an active Realtor. He listed and sold over $5 million worth of real estate in the Baltimore area in 2005 as a Realtor with Long & Foster Realtors. He was the #3 listing agent (of more than 80 agents) in Long & Foster’s Canton Office in 2004. Dan was inducted into the Long & Foster President’s Club and has won numerous Service Awards. In Spring 2006 Dan left Long & Foster to join the new Remax Sails office in the Natty Boh Building in Canton.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Dan was a Vice President at M&T Bank in the Procurement and Contracts Department where he negotiated multi-million dollar purchase and service agreements with the bank’s largest vendors. Dan also has experience working for the U.S. Department of Defense and in the healthcare industry.
Dan received his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003.
