Is it true that Sears Craftsman tools brand of energy are made by Ryobi?
I am 40 years tools Artisan delivered by my grandfather. Another great job. I recently purchased several new Craftsman tools, such as a router and a 2 HP unit 1 / 2 "18 Volt Drill. I also bought some Hand Tools like pliers 90 degree angle. Most of my recent purchases have resulted in catastrophic failure of Craftsman tools. My drill explodes in a cloud of smoke, my router locked up tight, securing my corner has been broken (and not replace the clip by saying it was a "tool in hand, had only been about 6 weeks), regular pliers and grabs my left. craftsman seems WAAAAYYYY is really gone downhill recently. I do not want to Artisan larger purchases. I recently bought a Ryobi 18v drill, but then I heard that Ryobi makes some things from Artisan. Is it true? Am I essentially buy another product from hell?
I started buy Craftsman tools in the 60s and most of them still perform like new. recently purchased a new drill and a few other tools that lasted about a week before it burns. I went to find another hole and discovered that one of 1 / 5 the price or craftsman, but had the same engine in it. So I changed engines. Initially, Sears bought only the best tools and put your name on them – Like Emerson made his saws, Whirlpool did the cooking and laundry, etc. – no more. Today, everything is done in Pacific countries like China and Taiwan and if the quality is associated with employment.
