Cutting Tile Saw-Which is better?
Good people, I have about 1500 square meters of tile set and need to hear some opinions. I already have a card, I saw only part of one of the bathrooms. The only thing about this is that it very complicated and tedious. Now I am struggling to buy a manual Tile Cutter, you know the score of the tile and then break it. I want to know what everyone thinks. Should I go ahead and buy to save me the trouble of dirt, noise, and the time it takes to walk out of court each tile. Please answer quickly as I am in the process of the project, as I write this.
I used both. The mountain is dirty, you're right, but if they are cut thicker than the floor tiles, you really need to use Sierra. To cut the tiles for walls thin, like the tool. I've used in the paintings on the walls of my bathroom and my tray table in the kitchen and easy and not messy. Just use a good leader or a square to record the lines, the crack then off a sharp edge. Sometimes you can get a kit that includes tool to break the tiles. This tool works very well for cracked tiles in a straight line. You can also get a Cutting Tool for cracking small corners or curves. I used one, worked very well for certain pieces using pliers as a nibbler. For the tiles had to use my one saw because they were too thick to use the tool. He was confused and had to wear goggles because sparks and pieces flying. Good luck! I hope this helps you decide.
